Hi, I’m Zora! I'm a speech-language pathologist located in Alexandria, Virginia. I have experience working within the school (preschool/elementary) and early intervention (daycare/home/community) settings.
When I was in high school I had the opportunity to meet with and observe the work of speech-language pathologists and through this experience I learned how valuable it is to be able to effectively communicate with our loved ones and individuals within our communities. I also recognized the importance of having access to providers that can support this skill.
Currently, I work towards continuing to strengthen my knowledge, skills, and collaborations as I support families and clients to communicate in the best way that works for each and every individual.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Hampton University (2015) and my Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2017). I am licensed to provide speech-language therapy in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
I enjoy exploring the Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. areas and finding activities for my young daughter. I enjoy watching many sports (football, basketball, baseball, tennis, gymnastics, track & field) and I am always rooting for my hometown sports teams (Cincinnati Bengals & Reds)!
