Hi, I’m Kim! Growing up in Malaysia, a multicultural/multilingual country, communication, connection and community with others have always been core values of mine. Along with the growth mindset that was instilled in me, I founded Lynchpin Speech Therapy to build an inclusive community centered in play, exploration and problem-solving, bridging individuality and evidence-based practice.
I have been practicing as a speech-language pathologist since 2020, working with people across the lifespan in private practice, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. I also became a Babble Buddies Circle Time instructor in 2025 to help families understand and support language development at home. My experiences solidified my belief that communication is more than speech or language, it is the lynchpin to connection with our loved ones and those around us.
When I'm not working, I love to connect with others through dance, board games and escape rooms.
