About Kayla

Hi, I'm Kayla! I provide speech therapy for adults and children to help them reach their communication goals, and become the most effective, confident communicators that they can be.

My therapy philosophy is collaborative and client-centered, bringing my expertise to help clients meet their communication goals. I value and embrace neurodiversity as well as cultural-linguistic diversity, and always strive to create a strong client-clinician bond. I have over 5 years of experience as a speech therapist working with both adults and children in settings such as telehealth, schools, private practice, rehab facilities, and skilled nursing homes.

I received my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Maryland and am licensed to provide speech therapy in Virginia and Maryland. I currently hold the Spero Ally of Stuttering™ Seal, which affirms my continued training in current stuttering treatments and involvement in the stuttering community.

Personal interests

In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, cooking, and playing board games. I love hiking with my husband and spending time with friends and family.
