About Hsin-I

Hsin-I Huang is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Radford University and a Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington. Inspired by a volunteer experience with children with autism, she developed a passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills. Hsin-I earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA in 2010 and is certified in LSVT LOUD, with additional training in PROMPT and DIR/Floortime. With years of clinical experience treating AAC, ASD, apraxia, swallowing disorders, Parkinson’s, and dementia, Hsin-I believes in a holistic, individualized approach, collaborating with PT/OT, caregivers, and families to improve functional communication skills and quality of life.

Personal interests

In her leisure time, Hsin-I Huang enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, cherishing the connections that enrich her life. She has a passion for collecting vegetarian recipes and loves experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen. Hsin-I also delights in discovering unique and independent bookstores and coffee shops, often seeking out hidden gems in her local area. Exploring old towns, with their charm and history, is another favorite activity, allowing her to unwind and immerse herself in different cultures and stories.
