About Carrie

Hi, I’m Carrie! A national and state board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a solid 12-year foundation, my expertise largely includes adults in a medical setting. More recently, I've discovered a genuine enthusiasm for the lively and rewarding world of pediatric SLP, finding it an ideal environment for continuous professional development. I am dedicated to deepening my understanding and expanding my knowledge of the various factors impacting speech, language, cognition, and swallowing in both children and adults.

My professional background is diverse that includes a position as a marketing coordinator within the ski and snowboard industry as well as an internship in Belize, where I provided essential speech and language assessment services to school-aged children in a remote village who otherwise would not have access to care.

My academic credentials include a B.S. in Marketing from Plymouth State University (NH), a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Elms College (MA), and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Kentucky University (KY).

Personal interests

Fun facts: I’m a former soccer player and fan of the beautiful game, I enjoy maintaining a healthy(ish) and active lifestyle. In my free time you can find me running around playgrounds and parks with my toddler, gardening, travelling around, and/or enjoying nature.
