Hi, I'm Breanna! I am a Board Certified (BCT) Speech-Language Pathology Teletherapist with twelve years of experience working with the pediatric and school-aged population. I received my Masters degree in Speech Pathology from Michigan State University. I became an SLP because I believe that communication is a fundamental human need. I believe that effective communication empowers individuals to advocate for themselves, participate fully in their communities, and lead more independent and fulfilling lives. I also believe that every child can learn when successfully encouraged and motivated.
My specialty is telepractice with a strong focus on articulation, language, and fluency disorders. I often target school-based skills as well as functional life skills utilizing practices that are evidence-based. I am currently working to receive my PROMPT certification and American Board of Child Language and Language Disorders (ABCLLD) certification.
In my practice, I incorporate various forms of technology, such as videos, online games, activities, and AI tools. My aim is to make speech therapy enjoyable, engaging, and motivating. I also prioritize building strong relationships and connecting with families.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, reading fiction, playing video games, and trying new hobbies.
